Containers offer a wonderful opportunity to bring color and personality to any part of a landscape and in every season. This collection of images is arranged in a seasonal sequence, showing examples of pots, urns and windowboxes from April through December. Often containers serve as gardens in miniature, located in places where in-ground planting isn't feasible or desirable. They might flank a front door, enclose a patio, decorate a roofdeck or create a focal point in a larger garden space.
