I provide garden maintenance for a limited number of projects. All of the gardens pictured here are ones I have maintained, some for 20 years, relying on hands-on knowledge of horticulture, designing in outdoor spaces, and local ecosystems. Following ecological maintenance practices, from building soil health to habitat restoration, is a priority for me.
Gardens can be designed to be low-maintenance, but all need care and attention in order to remain healthy and beautiful over time. Natural spaces evolve and change as a result of normal plant growth patterns, variations in weather (a crucial factor now with climate change), and the impact of how people spend time in them. Quality garden maintenance responds to and anticipates a landscape's changing needs.
While I can provide guidance on all aspects of your properties care, I do not do seasonal cleanups or lawn care.My specialty is planting areas with smaller shrubs, flowering perennials and annuals, as well as containers and vegetable beds. And for clients who are experienced gardeners or aspiring green thumbs, I can help with a plan and tips for DIY maintenance!
